Reinforcing path marginalization: revealing the unaccounted labour organization at a mining frontier in Indonesia

This article takes the case of tin extraction in Belitung to examine extractive industries in peripheral regions and argues that tin mining is reproduced by multiple forms of unrecognized labour organization that secure the continuation of an industry in times of the digital and energy transition.
